Democratic dialogue: advice by phase of an IT project
APIDOR offers a chapter/page of advice on how to successfully conduct democratic dialogue at each stage of an IT project.
APIDOR’s advice on agile approaches is covered in a separate chapter/page.
Each phase addresses the following points: phase objectives, challenges for senior management, phase inputs and outputs, stakeholders involved, phase content, information usually disseminated/processed.
- Initiation phase
- Design and planning
- Development
- Delivery and user testing
- Deployment
- Maintenance and change management
- Agile approaches (Scrum)
Each phase, as well as the agile approaches, is divided into two parts (see an excerpt from the Initiation phase below):
- the left-hand side is a standard presentation of the phase in several points
- the right-hand side shows APIDOR’s advice for conducting democratic dialogue for each point.
